What is a portrait party?

It is a fun way to get fine art portraits at a fantastic price. You invite your friends and have a great time while everyone takes turns having their children or family photographed.

Where do we have the party?

The party can be held at your home. That means I bring the lights, backdrop and props to your home and set everything up there. You will need to have a closed off area large enough for me to set up my on-location studio. If this is not feasible for you then you are welcome to host your party at my home-studio.

Do you provide the invitations?

An online invite you can email to your guests will be provided by me.

Is there a minimum number of people required?

Yes, you will need to have at least 5 guests not including the hostess.

How long is the session and how many images do we receive?

Each guest is given a ½ hour time slot. Each guest will receive a gallery with 10-15 images for them to choose from.

How many people can we include in the session?

You may include up to 5 people from your immediate family. There is a $10 charge per additional person.

What is a reservation fee?

In order to secure a portrait session at the party each guest will need to pay $30 to reserve the spot. This reservation fee is then converted to a print credit after the session.

What will this cost?

The reservation fee is converted to a print credit so essentially the session is free to your guests. They will also receive 20% off my regular print prices and 10% off canvasses. Special collection pricing is also available exclusively for portrait parties and collections start at $75. The host/hostess of the party will receive a free session and further credits and bonuses.

When do we receive our images?

Within 2 weeks of your portrait party, each guest will receive a link to a password protected private online gallery. The gallery will be available to them for 1 week to choose their images. Once payment is received, orders will be ready within 2-3 weeks.

How to get a free session - Toronto Children's Photographer

Tell your friends about Eye Am Photography and you could earn a free session as well as free prints. For every referral that you send to me that books a portrait session you will receive a $50 credit with Eye Am Photography. You can use this credit towards any future session. You can use if for the session fee or for prints or towards any other product. You could even use the referral credits to earn yourself some free holiday cards.

If you did not receive referral cards with your order to give out to your friends, just send me a quick email to anne@eyeamphotography.com and I will send some out to you.

It gets better. Your friends will also receive something free. Just for being your friend, they will receive a free 5x7 when the book a session.

This is just my way of saying thank you to my customers and their friends.

Holiday Cards - Toronto Family Photographer

I promised everyone holiday cards and here they are. There are many designs to choose from this year. All cards are printed on beautiful 5x7 Euro Art Silk paper. They are folded cards and printing can be done on the inside and back in addition to the design on the front. Cards are available for $3 each and are sold in sets of 25 cards only. Envelopes are of course included.

Holiday mini portrait sessions are taking place around Toronto and York Region as well as in the Richmond Hill studio. Book your session for your children and family soon as the cut off to ensure your prints and cards before the holidays is November 20th.

I know that no one wants to hear me say this on such a gorgeous day but the leaves are starting to turn colours. Fall is coming and that means it is time for Fall Photos and of course Holiday Photos.

I have had a few requests for sessions just to get a few images for gifts for family and also for holiday cards. So this year I am offering Holiday Mini Sessions.

The session is $99 and includes 3 - 5x7 images. The sessions lasts half an hour and can include babies, children, pets and of course family. The session includes up to 5 people. Sessions take place in my studio in Richmond Hill or outdoors depending on your preference. There are various outdoor locations around Toronto and and York Region that are available.

Holiday cards are available for $3 per card and are sold in increments of 25. More details to come with samples of the various design in another post.
