Mississauga Newborn Photographer - Finally a boy!

After about 8 or so girls in a row I finally got a newborn baby boy to photograph for a newborn session. He was just a few days old at our session and just so squishy and adorable.

Sweet Sweet Baby - Toronto Newborn Photographer

It's been a while since I've posted anything and I have tons of images to share. The Richmond Hill studio has been very busy with newborns over the last few months. I've had families from Toronto, Stouffville, Mississauga, Newmarket, Aurora, Markham and all over. I also go on-location for newborn sessions as well. Some locations have been Maple, Richmond Hill, Toronto and more. For this post I'll share the newborn images only. In future posts I will share the family, baby and children images from the recent photography sessions.

First was beautiful "H". The first little girl for this family of 3.

Another beautiful girl. Little "A" travelled all the way from Burlington for her newborn photography session.

So many little girls. It always seems to be that I photograph a bunch of girls and then I'll photograph a lot of boys. Here is little "O" and her beautiful family. I just adore the softness of the white bed.

Scrumptious and sweet. "L" shows us that little girls look adorable in every colour.

There have been lots more newborns but I will save some for the next post about newborns. Coming soon...Twice the cuteness.

It was mentioned in the newsletter but this is the first chance I've had to update the blog. Fall mini sessions are going on. The gorgeous fall colours have started making an appearance and it is a great time to get some photos of the kids to give as gifts this year.

The mini session package includes

- a 30 minute mini session outdoors
- 1 - 8x10
- 2 - 5x7's
- 5 digital files for $400.

Please contact the studio right away at 905-882-1459 as there are only two spots left for mini sessions outdoors for 2011.

There will be a date in November for indoor mini sessions. If you prefer an indoor studio session book now to hold your spot. These mini sessions go quickly as there are only a limited number offered each year.

Eye Am Photography also offers custom holiday cards. They are $75 for 25 cards.

And of course I had to include a photo from a recent session. This little darling was 6 weeks old and just an absolute sweetheart.

Eye Am Photography and Love Child have partnered together to bring to you Summer Photo Days. These are special photo sessions that will take place in the Love Child Store at Yonge and Eglinton in Toronto. Each child will receive a 15 minute session which includes a 5x7 print. The cost for the session is $20 plus HST. This is a great opportunity to get a photography session for you baby or young child. All details are below.

I remember being very excited about my first mother's day. Six years later I am still very happy when I think of mother's day. It is a day that I remember how wonderful it is to be a mother. How wonderful it is to be loved unconditionally by a little person and to love them in a way that is indescribable. It is a day that I spend enjoying my family.

Mother's day is coming up soon and to celebrate mothers everywhere Eye Am Photography is having a special. Or rather a couple of specials.

The first photography special is for women who are pregnant and are about to become mothers. From now until the end of May I am offering a free mini maternity session when a newborn session is purchased.

The second photography special is for women who have babies or children. For all sessions booked by the end of May you will receive 50% off the session fee. The session does not have to take place in May but must be booked before the end of May.

Toronto pet photographer - Lovable little puppy

I adore puppies. I rarely get to play with puppies so this really was a special treat for me. This beautiful golden retriever puppy was a photogenic beauty. It did take a couple hours of playing to get her all tuckered out and then she slept through her session just like any newborn. She let me pose her and move her from basket to basket and just kept sleeping.

Eye Am Photography photographs pets in the York Region and Toronto areas. I will be adding a new pet section to my website soon and would love some new furry faces. If you are interested in booking a session for your pet I am offering a $100 print credit and 15% off desk/gift prints. This applies to new sessions only. Sessions must be booked by April 30th to qualify for the discount. A signed model release is required for the discounted session.

Recently I had the pleasure of photographing these beautiful sisters. They were cuddly and adorable. One of the special accommodations that I offer is that I go on location at no extra charge. This covers Toronto and many of the surrounding areas. Please contact me if you are unsure if I will travel to your location. Eye Am Photography is now offering a select few weekday sessions. These will be shorter sessions at a reduced price. The session will be 45 minutes in length. This is a perfect session for babies, children or maternity. Sessions will be held on Tuesday or Thursdays at 10am in the Richmond Hill studio.

The Album - Toronto newborn and maternity photographer

This album is really a work of art. It is hand crafted in Italy. The images are printed on professional photographic paper, mounted and bound into a timeless book. There are many options for the covers but the one pictured below is a metal cover. I am thrilled to be able to offer this gorgeous product to my customers.

The pages are thick and sturdy. You can feel the quality of the book as soon as you hold it in your hands.

One of my favourite options for this album is the parent copies. The parent copies are the exact designs of the original book printed in a smaller press printed album. You can choose 4 - 4x4 books, 2 - 6x6 books or 1 - 8x8 book for $200 for each set. These parent copies are only available with the purchase of the album.

Brrrr!!! It is so cold outside. I love winter for about 5 minutes and then I can't wait for summer. It doesn't help that I've been planning our summer camping vacations and camp for the kids for the last few days. I adore the look of snow but I wish it was warmer.

So to keep warm I am offering a special on studio sessions booked over the next 30 days. To qualify for the special your session must be booked prior to February 10th and must take place prior to April 4th. As well this special is only for session that take place at the Richmond Hill studio.

The accordion books are simply adorable. They are 3x3 in size and hold 10 images. Shown below are the accordion books with custom covers.

Collages are a great way to showcase your images on your walls. The 10x20 is a perfect size for 3 or 4 images. Below is one example of a design. The collage is mounted and covered with a protective uv coating. You may frame it with out without glass.

Happy New Year! 2010 was a fabulous year for Eye Am Photography. The year started off very busy and remained busy right up until the end. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a great year.

So to start 2011 I would like to post a few pictures and then shortly I'll be posting a winter special.

Here are a few of my favourite recent images.

This is a sweet little baby girl that I have had the joy of photographing from the time she was 3 months old. She is always so happy and a pleasure to photograph.

This adorable newborn from Toronto was one of my most interesting sessions of 2010. Towards the end of the year I lost my voice completely. I offered to postpone the session but his parents were so easy going that they said it was fine that I had no voice. We made do and played a lot of charades.

I just adore images of children and their parents. The love and connection is just so beautiful. I always try to encourage parents to get in the pictures with their children. The time passes so quickly and it is such a special time when they are little.

I have a ton more images to show and will post more soon.

Recently at a portrait party I got the opportunity to photograph a different kind of subject. It's not my typical newborn baby portrait but still super cute. For those of you who don't know me I do love silly pictures. Of course I strive to capture beautiful images of your family but I love the silly pictures of you and your children as well. When I was asked to photograph a little girl and her pet I was happy to do it. Then I got the idea to pose the little one similarly to how I would pose a newborn. I think the image is fabulous and of course a little silly.

The last opportunity for mini sessions with Eye Am Photography will be on Saturday November 13th. These will be held at the Richmond Hill studio. If you are looking to get a few images for this year to give as gifts or for your holiday cards this is the time to book your session.

Mini sessions are half an hour long. The cost is $300.

You may choose the digital package which includes:
5 - full retouched digital images suitable for printing up to an 8x10.

Toronto children's photographer - Mini Session Day

Eye Am Photography is having a mini session day on Saturday October 23rd. Sessions will be half an hour in length and include up to 3 children.

Session is $300 and includes 5 medium resolution digital files (printable to 8x10). Perfect for printing your own holiday cards as well.

This will be an outdoor location for this date of mini sessions. Another date in November will be coming and those will be indoor sessions. These are the only mini sessions being offered for 2010.

York Region Baby Photography - York Central Hospital

So if you happen to be having a baby at York Central hospital in Richmond Hill you will get to see some of my work hanging in their new labour and delivery ward. Near the nurses station in the hallway is a large 40x20 canvas pictured below. There are also images in some of the delivery rooms. I will be adding more images over time.

If you are having your baby at York Central Hospital in Richmond Hill than Eye Am Photography is happy to offer you a complimentary 5x7 when you book your newborn session. Newborns are best photographed between 4 to 10 days of age so it is best to book when you are still pregnant or as soon as possible once you've had your baby. I am so excited to show everyone my new logo. I just adore it and hope that everyone else loves it too. It is unique and colourful. I love colour. Don't get me wrong I love my black and whites too but there is something for bright beautiful colours that make me so happy.

Also, I'm playing around with trying to post larger images so please humour me as I may be trying some new things for the next few posts.

And these are my new stamps. I'm using them for my round stickers. Super cute!

When this gorgeous woman told me she didn't really want any pictures of just herself I was so surprised and practically begged her to let me take a few pictures. Between her husband and myself we managed to convince her to let me take a few pictures of her to capture her stunning pregnant figure.

All kidding aside, I always tell people that it is better to let me take the pictures than not to. You can always choose not to buy an image but sometimes I cannot go back and take a picture at a later date. With pregnancy and newborn sessions usually there is not the opportunity to go back and recapture images.

And of course I'm showing an image of the family which is part of what "J" originally wanted when she set up her portrait session.

This sweet little baby was only a few weeks old but he gave me the most intense eye contact. He was so interested in everything that was going on and didn't want to go to sleep in case he missed out on anything. In the end though, he finally gave in and went to sleep.
